Hydraulic line leak, need a way to patch it up so clutch pedal can work?

so i got an 02 chevy cavalier and the clutch pedal went to the floor. i found out that it was the hydraulic line containing some air and not letting the fluid pump through. i found the leak and it just a small pinhole doing the problem. i dont want to pay $230 for a new line so is there any solution to patch up the line with something simple as tape? think of it as a beach ball filled with water and you want to stop it from leaking but something to withstand heat. thanks
