College degree to be picked ?

Right now I'm in a two year and am majoring in Criminal Justice. I come to find out that CJ isn't really worth it. I would like to purse psychology as I always been interested in going all the way up to the Doctorate and eventually get there. Also always been interested in working in community corrections (parole/probational officer). But then I also looked at the Geology program and I hear a lot of people have psychology degrees so the jobs are a bit dried up from that :\ ? Any tips hints or advise or maybe some degree advise that doesn't involve business or computers?
